VIC Timing Chart

This is a comprehensive visualisation of the behaviour of the VIC chip. It is quite handy as a reference when coding C64 demo effects.

The information is presented in a very condensed form, and won't make sense without context. For that, I highly recommend the VIC article by Christian Bauer and the addendum by the VICE team.

I find it humorous that filename of this victiming, though I'm not sure who is the victim being acted upon by this newly conjured verb--me or the c64.

I live and breathed the cycle chart of the Amiga's video chip. I look at this and have absolutely no idea what's going on. The visual description seems rather... nonstandard. Maybe you could look at the layout of Amiga Hardware Manual and take some inspiration from that. I'd really love to see this presented in a more standard, understandable way.
