I think it's awesome that you created this NFT. You are a technology explorer and I love your contributions to the world.

There are some people in the world that do nothing but look for the bad and they find it (real or imaginary). They know right where they can go as far as I'm concerned. There is good and bad with every technology. They aren't helping the world by being offended because someone else decides to expend energy on something they don't like. If there is any "social impact" it is them being self righteous and narcissistic. And that is not good for anyone but their own superiority complex.

People choose lots of different forms of entertainment that expend natural resources. I can guarantee you that the amount of energy used for playing video games, music, and watching tv, movies, and porn dwarfs the amount used by blockchain applications.

Every new technology needs to be explored to determine if it is useful or not. If it is not useful then people stop using it and it goes away.

I'm very happy that the C64 community is still very active.

Thanks for existing and doing what you do Linus.

Hi Linus, I saw you first as a very young person, nearly a child, sitting on Mekka Symposium or Breakpoint in a row, dunno... but I remember I thought "hey, a new C64 person is coming to the scene, nice at least a young one again." But then you made it up to coding a demo, coming up to get one of the best, even demystified the VSP Bug which even CountZero wasnt able to explain and then you shocked me with you 256 byte intro. Of course composing your own music to it. Now you even keep yourself interesting with nice hardware hacks.

If the next Revision is taking place in a real environment again I *really* would like to ask you some questions on the campfire and maybe share a beer if you like ;)

Greetings, Thomas

Marvelous article. Big thanks for that. I use the pipes for decades but never understood it down to the ground of the kernel, not better until now... good idea to start at the beginning with the teletypers ;)

Tracking down the ^Z problem in vim

...nice Fix! I mostly use VIM inside screen and/or tmux. So I won't need to suspend it, just move over to another Tile, make it fullscreen and come back later.
TMux "fixed" quite some problems in my daily workflow to the good.

P.S. You have a talent to explain difficult thing easy! THANX for explaining your fixes this way.

I would love to see NTSC supported. So many wonderful songs (done assuming PAL) sound absurd on NTSC machines.

Would it be possible to give NTSC users support by setting up a 50Hz interrupt (CIA) for playback and let us optionally choose that mode so playback would sound as intended?

Great work!
Those AVR Tiny's can sure do a lot (with a good programmer at the helm)!

Here is another...
